The Slumber Capsule
A four piece bedtime set, built for the laundry rotation as much as for the nursery.
Two sleep sacks means one is always clean. Both are cut from bamboo viscose certified to OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Class I, breathable and gentle against new skin.
What is included
- The Canvas Mauve Sleep Sack. 1.0 TOG, with a smooth two way side zip.
- The Canvas Mint Sleep Sack. 1.0 TOG, with a smooth two way side zip.
- The Canvas Mint Knotted Beanie. Soft, non binding knit with an adjustable top knot.
- The Canvas Mauve Bow Headband. Soft, non marking stretch.
Choose a size for each sleep sack. The beanie and headband are one size.
Care
Every piece in this set is a heavy bamboo viscose interlock — prized for its softness, and more delicate than cotton. To keep the plush feel:
- Machine wash the sleep sacks cold, gentle cycle, with zips fully closed
- Wash separately from rougher fabrics — towels, outerwear, velcro
- Use a mild, fragrance-free detergent. No fabric softener: it coats the fibre and reduces breathability
- Lay flat to dry, or tumble dry on the lowest heat
- Wash the beanie and headband by hand, or in a mesh bag, and always lay them flat — the dryer affects the elastic
Light pilling with regular wear is a natural characteristic of bamboo fibre, not a flaw, and proper care slows it considerably.
